Description
When mixed two parts A to one part B by weight or volume, Pmc™-780 Dry pours easily and cures at room temperature with negligible shrinkage to a solid Shore 80A rubber. This makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, including casting abrasive materials such as concrete and gypsum plasters, as well as creating rubber mechanical parts, gaskets, wheels, and pulleys. Whether you're a professional mold maker or a DIY enthusiast, Pmc™-780 Dry is the perfect choice for your project.
Before using Pmc™-780 Dry, make sure to prepare your workspace and materials properly. Store the product at room temperature in a low-humidity environment, and wear safety glasses, long sleeves, and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. When working with porous materials like concrete or wood, be sure to seal the surface with a release agent to prevent adhesion. And, for non-porous surfaces, simply apply a release agent to facilitate demolding.
When mixing Pmc™-780 Dry, make sure to follow the instructions carefully to ensure proper mixing and curing. Mix the parts thoroughly for at least three minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the mixing container several times. For large quantities, consider using a mechanical mixer to ensure a thorough mix. Once mixed, pour the rubber into your mold and let it cure at room temperature for at least 48 hours.
After curing, Pmc™-780 Dry can be demolded and used as a mold material. To ensure easy release, apply a release agent to the mold before each casting. Depending on the material being cast, you may need to use a specific release agent. For example, when casting gypsum plaster, sponge the mold with a soap solution for better flow and easy release. By following these simple steps, you'll be able to achieve professional results with Pmc™-780 Dry.
In addition to its exceptional performance, Pmc™-780 Dry is also formulated for long-term durability and storage. Fully cured rubber is tough, durable, and will perform well if properly used and stored.
